This SKOTTSBERG® Cast Iron frying pan has a number of fantastic unique properties. The pan is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil, creating a natural anti-stick coating (patina layer), which improves a little after each use. This frying pan was made from a single casting of lightweight, wear-resistant smelted iron ore. The frying pan heats up quickly, so it is very important that you let it heat up slowly to prevent the bottom of the frying pan from warping. The handle of this frying pan is hollow, ensuring that it does not heat up and can be gripped easily. This frying pan can therefore withstand high temperatures and is therefore highly suited to frying fish, meat, potatoes, pancakes, or wraps as well as making a delicious paella or toastie.
